🌍 WAMIP at the 3rd Nyéléni Global Forum This September in Kandy, Sri Lanka, global grassroots movements came together for the 3rd Nyéléni Global Forum, uniting around the urgent effort to collaboratively address today’s intertwined crises and oppression. More than 700 participants from across the world came together to shape a Common Political Action Agenda – a shared roadmap for systemic transformation built on solidarity between movements. The Forum was more than a meeting: it was a collective act of resistance and imagination. It showed how collaboration across movements can strengthen our struggles, amplify marginalised voices, and build the power we need to drive real change. This Forum was not the end, but the beginning of a renewed phase of joint action. WAMIP looks forward to working with partners across movements to implement the common strategy and turn shared visions into tangible change for pastoralists, communities and the planet.#Nyeleni2025 #SystemicTransformation #FoodSovereignty #WAMIP #pastoralists #indigenouspeoples
