WAMIP mobilizes global delegation and a wide range of action at COP26 in Glasgow

World Alliance of Mobile Indigenous and pastoralist People ‘s delegation is making the long journey to Glasgow at COP26 to take part in a series of public events, at the IFAD Pavilion and the alternative COP to highlighting that mobile pastoralism is part of the solution not of the problem. In variable ecologies can improve the environment, enhance biodiversity and reduce climate impacts, and ensure resilient food systems and the value of livestock mobility to maintain healthy rangelands, resilience of both livelihoods and ecosystems in the face of climate change and disasters.
