As we move towards the World Pastoralist Assembly on August 16th, a diverse delegation of WAMIP pastoralist representatives from different regions of the world has gathered in Mongolia to stand in solidarity with herder communities and exchange knowledge and experiences.Through visits and conversations, we are learning from their traditional ways of life, their deep relationships with their lands and territories, and their struggles to protect their livelihoods, cultures, and collective rights. These exchanges remind us that pastoralism is not simply a way of making a living, it is a way of life, a culture, and a vital form of land stewardship that communities have defended and sustained for generations. From Mongolia to the world, pastoralists are raising their voices to defend their lives and protect their livelihoods! We're looking forward to connecting with you at the World Pastoralist Assembly (WPA)! 🌍
