WORLD ALLIANCE OF MOBILE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES & PASTORALISTS
»I ‘m in Amboseli at the moment and these are pictures from there. Because of drought Maasai from Kenya and Tanzania have moved 8000 heads of cattle in to Amboseli to graze on the swamps of Amboseli which are historically critical dry season reserve. Livestock and wildlife are grazing in alternating patterns .i.e. Elephants, buffalo, cattle, wildebeest, zebra, gazelles/antelopes then sheep and goats » – via Benjamin Mutambukah & Michael Tiampati, WAMIP East Africa #pastoralism #biodiversity #earthguardians
