WAMIP is the alliance of pastoralist communities and mobile indigenous peoples throughout the world, and our common space to preserve our forms of life, livelihoods and cultural identity, to sustainably manage our common property resources and to obtain full respect of our rights. As an independent grassroot movement, we work together with other civil society organisations to influence policy makers at national, regional and international levels, supranational bodies such as the UN and subsidiary organisations like FAO, CBD, etc.
